The House
Casa Blanca is the entire home, not a room in someone else's. Eleven of you, six bedrooms, and nobody to keep the noise down for. Come back from the course to a saltwater pool, fire up the BBQ terrace, settle a score on the table tennis table, and sweat out the round in the sauna.
When the clubs are away there is a gym, an outdoor shower, a fireplace for the cooler months, and hiking and cycling straight from the door.

The Serralada Litoral rises straight behind the house. Useful for anyone in the group who does not play, and for the rest of you on a rest day.
The Golf
Two of them are a twenty minute drive. All four take visitor bookings without a member introducing you, which is not true of every club on this coast. Pick a different one each morning and you never move your bags.
Sant Vicenç de Montalt, Maresme
Eighteen holes opened in 2001 on the Santa Maria del Balís estate, short and tight rather than long, with sea views over the Maresme. The best value round of the four, and midweek rates have been quoted including a buggy.

Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, Maresme
Founded in 1945 and originally laid out by F.W. Hawtree, this is the grand old club of the coast. Narrow fairways through pine, the Mediterranean on one side and the coastal range on the other, and a par four seventeenth with a view that has won awards. Weekday green fee €140, weekends and holidays €250.
Book online or by phone. Maximum handicap 36, and the course closes on Mondays outside July and August.

Vallromanes, Vallès Oriental
The one full-length par 72 within half an hour, inland from the coast and about 25 km from central Barcelona. Driving range, big putting and approach area, and a Mediterranean restaurant that is open to visitors, so it works well as the long lunch day. Weekday €110, weekends and holidays €135.
Visitors welcome daily, online or by phone. A valid handicap certificate is required, so bring it.

Caldes de Malavella, Girona · formerly PGA Catalunya
The famous one, and worth the extra half hour on the AP-7. The Stadium Course has hosted the Spanish Open three times and stretches past 7,100 yards from the back tees. Its sister Tour Course is wider and more forgiving, and has hosted European Tour Qualifying School finals. Midweek Stadium rounds have been quoted around €125, with peak rates a good deal higher.
Both courses are open to the public and bookable online. The Stadium Course has been closed for upgrade works over summer 2026 and both courses are due to be fully open again from October 2026, so check dates before you commit.
Book a tee timeSpanish clubs ask for one more often than UK clubs do. Vallromanes requires a valid certificate and Llavaneras caps visitors at 36. A photo on your phone is usually enough, but do not turn up without it.
Eleven players means three tee slots, and clubs on this coast fill up at weekends. Weekday rates are also materially cheaper almost everywhere, which is the single easiest way to cut the cost of the trip.
Drive times are approximate and from the house. Pars and green fees were checked against the clubs and published guides in August 2026 and are given as a guide only. Rates change with season, time of day and buggy or club hire, so confirm current prices and availability directly with each club when you book. Casa Blanca is not affiliated with any of these clubs. Eight beds across six bedrooms, sleeping eleven. That only works if some of the beds take two people. In practice it means around three of the eight beds are shared doubles and the rest sleep one each, which adds up to your eleven.
So a group of eleven single travellers will have three pairs sharing a double bed. A group with couples in it fits far more comfortably: the couples take the doubles and everyone else gets a bed to themselves. If you are eight or nine rather than eleven, everyone gets their own bed with rooms to spare.
Room-by-room bed types are not published here because we will not guess them. Anna and Jamie will confirm exactly what is in each of the six rooms before you book, and the current layout is always on the Airbnb listing.

Location
Casa Blanca sits in Can Massuet del Far, in the village of Dosrius, in the hills behind the Maresme coast. Barcelona is 45 minutes away, so a night in the city is easy, but you are not sleeping in it.
The practical advantage for a golf group is the position: inland enough to be quiet and private, close enough to the coast that two eighteen hole courses are a twenty minute drive, with the AP-7 nearby when you want the big day out at Camiral.
